There are two main reasons for this: first, the increase in the number of people using their email, and second, the massive number of people with access to mobile phones. How does Forward2Me work?
The basic idea behind Forward2Me is that if you want to be notified of the incoming messages on your phone, then you should be able to set your email address as the default notification address.
